HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The Marauders turn the mid-season corner with a resounding win over Egan rival Notre Dame 8-0.  Prep enters the second half with a 3-5 record with tough games coming up against Gordon rivals Seton Hall Prep and Gloucester Catholic and Egan rival Paul VI.  Freshman Hunter Ferraro (3-3-6), Junior Jackson Grimes (3-5-8) and Senior Grant Fischer (5-2-7)  have led the scoring up front while Sophomore Jack McKeon (2-4-6) and Junior Nick Smith (1-4-5) have anchored the defense while also adding offensive production.  Junior goaltender Dustin Wolckenhauer has been steller in net posting an eye-popping.938 save percentage and a 2.57 goals against average in eight starts while Senior goaltender Robert Maffia picked up his first Varsity victory posting a shutout against Notre Dame.

Prep’s Junior Varsity squad is having another strong season sporting a 7-5 record with its latest victory coming against Bergen Catholic 5-2.
