Coach Monnecka enjoyed his high school playing days with Hudson Catholic where he served as the Varsity team’s Captain, attained All-State and All-County Honors, competed with the team in the Chicago Showcase and helped his team to a League Championship.  Thereafter, Coach Monnecka continued his playing career with Wagner College’s ACHA Division II club team which captured two Conference Championships and qualified multiple times for the National Championship Tournament.

Coach Monnecka began his coaching career with Hudson Catholic where he served as an assistant with the Varsity squad and has since coached numerous teams at the Tier II AA level from the 12U through 16U age classifcations with his teams capturing multiple EJEPL League Championships. Coach Monnecka was also instrumental in founding the Secaucus Patriots travel organization and is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach.
